Gulshen is from the village of Imamqulukend in the region of Qusar. She is part of the Lezgi people group.
Gulshen has 3 children and her main job is taking care of her family. Her mother-in-law also knits with her when she gets a chance but she is often out working in the fields. Gulshen is a very positive and kind person always ready to be hospitable and invite others into her home. Her third child was a much awaited girl after two older sons (and only boy cousins) and she is quite spoiled by her whole family.
