Ulviyye is from a village in the region of Qax.
Ulviyye is the young mom of 5 kids which all live together with her husband in one room. Her youngest are 5 year old twins who don’t let her knit easily! She mostly knits after her kids are sleeping each night. Some of her kids have some health issues which she wants to try to solve with the money from her knitting while her husband’s job provides food for them.

Beside having 2 pairs of slippers, I recently bought a head band made by you and I love it! I really don’t like being cold, so I wear this inside my house quite often! We have a 10 month old daughter who is wearing the most beautiful white and blue knit slippers during these cold winter days knit by you! I’m so grateful to see you face & hear a little of your story. I have 4 children myself and also have a hard time finding time to knit with them running around!
