Indira is from the village of Imamqulukend in the region of Qusar. She is part of the Lezgi people group.
Indira is over 60 years old and has been knitting almost everyday her entire life. Since meeting Azerbaijani Socks and seeing possibility for earning money from knitting, she taught her daughter-in-law and a few other young women relatives and neighbors.
