Fargana

Fargana is from Imamqulukend village in the region of Qusar.  She is part of the Lezgi people group. 

Fargana is 56 years old and a very hard worker.  She spends her summers and fall going as a day laborer picking fruit in fields.  She is so thankful to be able to spend the cold winters inside knitting socks.  Her village is famous for their great sock knitters and Fargana joins another 15 knitters from her village who knit for Azerbaijani Socks.  She is a grandma from her daughter and still is waiting for her son to get married - but claims he can't find any girl to marry!
