Sevda had been knitting for someone else when we met her, but she was not receiving fair wages. She was very pleased to find and start working with us. Her husband lost his job in the local government and was not able to obtain another position due to political issues. Knitting allows her to help provide for the family.

I received a beautiful ornament knitted with such detail and care! It will be hung on our family’s Christmas tree every year with prayers for Sevda and her family :)
The socks are beautifully knitted and so warm. My brother and family live in Baku and these were brought to me in Scotland as a Christmas gift. Thank you Sevda.
