Terana is from the village of Pirasora in the mountains of Lerik. Their village is very remote and has no gas and no good road. She has her head covered which means she is a practicing muslim, unlike most of her neighbors who attest to being Muslim but do not cover. She learned to knit from her aunts and loves to be a part of Azerbaijani Socks.
