Durdana lives in a very remote village in the region of Lerik. She is from the Talysh people group. Her mother-in-law is still making her own yarn and she taught her daughter-in-law how to knit. Durdana has 3 children and she also works hard in her garden and looking after her many animals. She likes winter and sitting around the fire to knit the long style socks (her village doesn't have gas, if you catch a faint campfire smell - that is how they heat their houses).
