Mahida is from the Oguz region. She grew up in Bas Dasagil and moved to Bucaq when she got married. She has three daughters. One is studying in University to be a mechanical engineer and the youngest is preparing to go to University. She is so grateful to have the opportunity to make money while knitting. She said that knitting helps her to have peace which makes her migraines less frequent. The money allows her to help pay for the many (five or more) tutors her youngest daughter needs to complete her schooling.
