Leysan is 70 years old. She learned from her mom and has been knitting since she was in 1st grade. She is from a very remote village called Sudur. They had their own sheep with which they would make their own yarn and knit their own socks and carpets. Leysan is a simple lady and never complains about her life and her house even if it is not as nice as her neighbors. Her daughter and grandkids live with her after her daughter’s divorce and her daughter helps her knit the heels of the socks. Her grandkids live with her and she spends her money on her family.
